Based on last year’s successful program where close to 100 coyotes were checked in, the Bedford County Agricultural Economic Development Advisory Board is coordinating a lottery again this year from Oct. 6, 2016 – March 1, 2017.  The jackpot is set at $2,000.  Funded by local businesses and organizations, the program hopes to entice hunters and trappers to once again participate in a countywide effort aimed at managing the growing threat of the predators on livestock.
