Bedford County has two farmers markets that provide fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables and meats, and handmade goods directly from the farmers and producers.

Forest Farmers Market

The Forest Farmers Market is an open air producer only market. Local vendors offer a wide selection of produce, fruit, meats, coffee, and baked goods along with wine, jams, and plants. Artisans create beautiful wood crafts, jewelry, and glass art along with beauty products. The Forest Farmers Market accepts SNAP.

Located at the Forest Library, 15583 Forest Road, the Forest Farmers Market.

Summer Market: every Saturday, May – October from 8 a.m. – noon
Winter Market: one Saturday a month, November – April from 9 a.m. – noon

Bedford Farmers Market

Located at 220 W. Washington Street under the Centertown Pavilion, Bedford Farmers Market features fresh fruits and veggies, jams, jellies, baked goods, meats and eggs. Local artisans offer a variety of talents such as jewelry, leather and sewn goods, and woodwork. The Bedford Farmers Market is proud to accept SNAP payments and provides educational programs and special events throughout the market season.
