Bedford County released a new and improved public Geographic Information Systems (GIS) website in May 2014.The site incorporates information from Bedford County and the Town of Bedford, and replaces each of these localities’ former GIS websites.

The new GIS interface features an interactive map that allows residents and professionals to view many layers of information, including tax assessment, zoning, and topography. With enhanced reporting and printing capabilities, the site is user-friendly and equipped with short help videos to assist the user.
