All fourth graders in Bedford County Public Schools visited the Bedford County Fair today as part of their curriculum to learn about agriculture and environmental sciences.

The students learned about soil and water conservation; fish farming; cattle, horses, and sheep; the chicken gestation process; and how to identify animal track marks, among other important agri-science studies.

Thanks to the volunteers, and staff who were on hand to provide the numerous demonstrations about agriculture in Bedford County.
